Went for a short 3D 2N getaway trip to Bintan with my other half... WOo HOo... I luv the place soo much... Other than the high expenses... The ambience there is soo relaxing... No overpopulated areas, no rushing crowd, no high rise buildings everywhere, fresh air... AhH...
Then when I came back... I felt so sick of Singapore... Thinking of retiring as a farmer or fisherman... But, will I have the courage?
Ok, lets start from Day 1 of my trip... This is the ferry company that provided us transportation to Bintan Resort Ferry Terminal...
Good bye... Singapore...
Bintan Resort Ferry Terminal...
Actually, that was my first trip to Indonesia...
My tool n I...
Upon arrival, we were directed into a waiting room for our car to send us to the resort...
Here we go... On the way to resort...
Check in time! Got a major scare cos' someone forgot to bring her credit card!!!
First scenic pic...
Resort lobby...
Resort swimming pool... Day...
Resort swimming pool... Night...
View from our Balcony...
Balcony...
For display purpose ONLY... Hahaa...
Our sofa...
And Bed... Very nice bed... Esp. with A/C...
So basically right after we checked in, we went for a swim n tan in the pool, then took some photos by the beach.
When the sun goes down, we were ready to go to Pasar Oleh Oleh for our dinner...
Waiting for shuttle bus to Pasar Oleh Oleh...
By the way, this is Lotus Cafe. The resort's main cafeteria. Also the place where we will be having our breakfast...
Arrived liao!!! Pasar Oleh Oleh...
One of the restaurants in Pasar Oleh Oleh. Initially I thot Pasar Oleh Oleh would be like our Pasar Malam or roadside stores like those in Bangkok or Taiwan. Then I realised, it is a very small shopping area with few shops only. But dinning there is definitely much cheaper compare to the resort where one set meal cost ard USD 99 on the average.
So we decided to eat our dinner at this restaurant called Bintan Idol where they have this singing trio whom really can sing... Nice..
The outdoor decor...
My 1st day dinner which on the 2nd day, I realised it was a big mistake to eat western food there... Although the steak is really very nice...
During the night, there are basically nothing much to do. Luckily I went prepared. I was prepared to go ard snapping photos of the night scene with my tripod. Oh Yeah!...
And of cos of ourselves...
Pantai Grill...
One dining table was arranged to be on a piece of rock extended out into the sea with candle lit walkway... How romantic... Btw, it is only for Banyan Tree guest...
